Bio

Having played guitar since he was thirteen, Alexander Temple (b. 1987) has been fascinated by the possibilities afforded by computer-driven recording and mixing for a long time. He began working with MIDI as a way of sketching out compositions and laying down accompaniment tracks for his early songs, but has since developed his fluency with the technology considerably. In 2004 the CEO of Vienna Symphonic Library GmbH recognized this and brought Alex on board to construct audio mockups of famous orchestral masterpieces using VSL's powerful MIDI-driven software. This experience has provided extensive training in coaxing a musically vital sound out of a computer. As audio technology continues to become more sophisticated, Alex will continue to explore the possibilities created by its stimulating marriage with the art of music-making.

Alex currently lives near Washington, D.C., where he recently obtained his Bachelor's degree from American University in music composition.
